About Us

We are a civic association and a certified team of therapists in Bratislava. We help children with autism spectrum disorder develop communication, independence, and joy of learning using the ABA method.

01

Evidence-based approach

We use the ABA approach. It is a scientifically proven approach that helps children learn new skills. Each procedure is verified and tailored to the child.

02

An experienced team under professional guidance.

Our team consists of trained ABA therapists who are supervised by an internationally certified behavioral analyst (BCBA). Your child is in the care of specialists.

03

Parents as part of the joint team

We believe that the greatest progress occurs when parents and therapists work together. That’s why we teach parents how to implement strategies at home, so they can experience small victories every day.

From 2018

Founded in 2018, the Srdce Autizmu (Heart of Autism) Association aims to support and protect the well-being of children with disabilities. The association accomplishes this by educating children and their parents, as well as providing advice and consultations to families.

Experienced team

Our team of professionals and therapists has extensive experience working with children. We have many years of experience educating children and supporting parents.

Consultations and Workshops

In cooperation with other entities, Srdce Autizmu provides individual sessions, consultations, and professional lectures for parents and professionals to help raise awareness about ABA.

Our experience

Just as the autism spectrum is broad, so is the scope of our services. We offer a variety of activities, including raising awareness, working directly with children, and educating parents, family members, teachers, educators, teaching assistants, personal assistants, and other professionals.

The Srdce Autizmu (Heart of Autism) is a nonprofit civic association dedicated to helping families with children on the autism spectrum, as well as professional and educational staff.

Our services are as diverse as the autism spectrum itself. We offer awareness-raising activities, direct work with children, and education for parents, family members, teachers, teaching assistants, personal assistants, and other professionals.

We fund our services and activities only through donations. Your financial contributions will help us continue providing these services, thereby improving the quality of life for children with autism spectrum disorders and their families.

What did parents say about us.

Parents often tell us that their children are looking forward to therapy. That’s great feedback for us! We see children making progress in communication and independence, and they also feel relaxed around us.
