School Consultations
We help schools and institutions create environments in which children with autism can thrive. We support teachers directly in the classroom, from setting goals to implementing specific procedures. Together, we find solutions that work for both the child and the teacher.
Cooperation within the school environment of a child or student with autism, or within an educational institution, focuses on developing skills and abilities in the child’s natural setting. Procedures designed by a behavior therapist/analyst help identify appropriate educational goals to support progress in academic, behavioral, and social areas. As part of consultation services for schools and educational institutions, support is provided not only to the child or student, but also to the teachers and staff working with them.
A transdisciplinary model of collaboration among professionals plays a key role in maximizing the development of children with autism across all environments and areas of life.
