Our Services

Social Groups

Children learn social skills best among their peers. In small groups, your child will learn how to initiate contact, join games, and cope with losing. We prepare children for real-life situations inside and outside the center.

Social groups are designed for children with autism between the ages of 5 and 8 or 9 and 12. Meetings are held regularly once a week for two hours and focus on developing social skills, such as playing and communicating in a group, problem solving, identifying and understanding emotions, learning to win and lose, and working as a team.

In small groups, children with autism have the opportunity to practice approaching and inviting others to play, responding to rejection, and asking a sales assistant in a shop for help.

The goal is to prepare them for life in society so they can participate fully to the greatest extent possible. Meetings take place at the center and outside of it. Outside, children have the opportunity to practice the skills they have learned.
